A work dinner was held here, the view is lovely and seems great for happy hour vibes at the outside bars. It is a fairly large place with a dedicated lot, reservations are recommended. Getting upstairs in my pumps proved a chore but I made it! The pan seared scallops were delicious, although a very small portion - even with a side of mashed potatoes. I would visit again and take in more of the views and cocktails

Food was delicious and so fresh! Well plated and garnished, reasonable portion sizes for the price. Great view from the outdoor deck, as well, although beware of seagulls.

They have a tabbouleh and hummus appetizer that was absolutely amazing. Everything else was good, but that was great. This place can be hit or miss but they had their game on yesterday. Great servers as well. What a nice experience.

I dined here on a Saturday evening and had a good experience. I sat in the outdoor roof section, which is first come first served seating style. There is no covering for shade but the two tables nearest the door get a little bit of shade from the building. The views of the water are so lovely from here. I got the frozen watermelon drink and it was delicious. For good I got the goat cheese salad and the fried calamari. I really enjoyed the salad and the calamari was so good. I didn't love the fried peppers they combined with the calamari serving. I also tried the fish tacos and those were very tasty. This was a great dinner overall. I had a confusing experience at the just stand and the prices were a bit high, but looking past those things I still loved it here.

Went with a friend who lives near it and a perfect place to meet with friends. The location is right on the water and the view of Boston is great during the day and even better at night. They have a menu with great choices. I had a big cup of the clam and corn chowder which was a great start. They have a choice of cold or hot lobster rolls, and I chose hot. It was delicious. The service by Shirley was outstanding. It's a definite stop when in Charlestown.

I really love the view from Pier 6 the food was exceptionally good and fresh in the upstairs dining. There is a roof deck, but I recommend that people make reservationsbeforehand. There's also a bar downstairs alfresco. There's a lot of families, dates, neighbors, groups of people in this location as a fun festive laid-back environment. I enjoyed my oysters, tuna tartare, beet salad, halibut tacos. The mussels are to die for! Service was very friendly highly recommend.

This was my 4th time here, so obviously I absolutely love this place!! It's my to-go place whenever I have guests over visiting me in Boston. First off I love their views of Harbor on all windows! Secondly, they are always able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. They have lots of seafood on the menu including starters! I love their grilled salmon, and I often order their cheeseburger minus the meat patty and instead get a grilled salmon added. In the past, I've added fried fish to the burger as well. Though this combo is not on the menu but they accommodate it and adjust the price in it. My son is a picky eater, but he absolutely loves their creamy mashed potato, so I always get it on a side! But they have a nice kids menu too and have small salmon on kids menu too! They can make great non-alcoholic mocktails too, so you will never feel left out when you're there with friends who drink!

Fried calamari garnished with a few hot peppers, marinara and lemon. A home run! This has been the tastiest calamari I've had ever. The delicacy of the fish comes through with its nice light batter the right and the calamari melted in my mouth. Worth it to have on the table to be shared. Plenty of rings and tentacles. smoked salmon Benedict was really delicious with eggs delicately poached, the fresh salmon, the salad and the holiday and home fries make it a really delicious meal. my friend liked the avocado, toast and ordered scrambled eggs to go with it. I recommend this place. A limited menu, but mindfully prepared. Delicious. Server: Exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. Our server was efficient, polite and made our meal more enjoyable. She went out of her way to make sure our food was cooked the way we had asked. The views from Pier 6 has a gorgeous view of the Boston skyline looking across the harbor. Sometimes places that have the view have food that is subpar. Pier 6 brings both of these elements to their business and I hope they continue to do this. I recommend Pier 6, worth trying.

Last week, my family and I revisited Pier 6, nestled at 1 8th St in Charlestown, MA. Despite having been there nearly a year ago, this visit was dedicated to exploring their enticing fall menu. Our libation journey began with the "Paper Boat," a delightful concoction of Maker's Mark bourbon, aperol, and zesty lemon. A must-try for bourbon enthusiasts, this cocktail set the tone for an evening of palate-pleasing experiences. The classic margarita featuring Ocho Blanco tequila, triple sec, and lime, along with the Piña Colada infused with Blue Chair coconut rum, added a tropical flair. Wrapping up the prelude was the timeless classic, the espresso martini - a perfect prelude to a delightful meal. Venturing into appetizers, the Blackened Swordfish Tacos showcased a harmonious blend of flavors, accented by avocado lime crema and jicama slaw, earning a solid 8/10. The fried calamari, adorned with sliced cherry peppers, earned a commendable 7/10 for its well-seasoned, zesty appeal. A visual and gastronomic delight, the tuna tartare with avocado, mango, chili oil, and wontons stood out as a favorite, offering a delightful sharing experience. Transitioning to the main course, the grilled hanger steak with broccoli and watercress salad proved to be a satisfactory choice, meriting a 7/10. However, stealing the spotlight were the pan-seared scallops, sautéed in a vegetable succotash and complemented by a citrus carrot purée - a truly decadent delight deserving of a 9/10. Equally impressive was the grilled swordfish, accompanied by Israeli couscous, mussels, cherry tomatoes, and a green olive chimichurri. The flavorful couscous and impeccably fresh swordfish earned this dish a solid 9/10. Concluding the entrees, the seafood fry diavolo , boasting linguine, spicy pomodoro sauce, mussels, and shrimp, though not overly spicy, delivered a tasty experience with well-cooked mussels and shrimp, earning a respectable 7/10. Beyond the culinary delights, Pier 6 offers a breathtaking view of Boston, coupled with an intimate ambiance. This gem in Charlestown deserves a visit for its excellent dishes and overall dining experience. Food: 8/10 Affordability: 7/10 Ambiance: 8/10

Great dinner spot to watch the sunset. Food is reasonably good too, with a broad range of items on the menu to keep things interesting. We ordered the mezze dip with zaatar chips and Malaysian wings as starters. (Don't expect authenticity! But I enjoyed both.) Lots of seafood options as you'd expect at a dockside restaurant, with some vegetarian and meat proteins on offer as well. We shared a seafood fra diavolo linguini and broccolini side, and a lobster roll on a healthily-sized platter of salad and sweet potato fries. Our server was great - quick service, very accommodating. And if you're nervous about the Charlestown parking situation, don't be. There's a parking lot in the building across the restaurant, and my friends and I lucked out in getting cheap metered on-street spots (downside is that it's only good for 2 hours till 8pm.)
